Mr. Collins Olorondu hails from Amumara in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA. He immigrated to Houston, Texas, in 1982, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in the Administration of Justice (1990) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Information Technology (1994) from Texas Southern University. He resides in Richmond, Texas, a suburb of Houston, with his wife and two children.
Mr. Olorondu owns and operates an emergency medical service (EMS) company, a business with a fleet of twenty (20) ambulances and over fifty (50) employees in three counties in Texas.
Mr. Olorondu is involved in Mbaise community organizing in America. He served as the general secretary (2003-2006) and is the current executive president of Mbaise Family Association of Houston. He successfully led the effort that culminated into the first national convention of Mbaise USA in Houston in September 2008. As the first National President of Mbaise USA, Mr. Olorondu is committed to finding team-oriented solutions that will help us to resolve issues that confront our homeland.
